We are in an era of truth-telling, and often what is shared and what we discover conjures up mixed emotions. But I hope as a nation we are brave and honest with ourselves and each other to keep moving forward together in learning, understanding and acknowledging Australia's Blak history.

If you haven't seen The Australian Wars documentary series, I encourage you to check it out. Take a journey with Rachel Perkins into the history a lot of Australians don't know about or aren't taught in schools. As a First Nations person, I, too, am being introduced to a shared history I had no clue existed.
